Sunday Brawl

Possibly one of the better known tournaments on the Full Tilt Poker client, the Sunday Brawl has been in play for a long time. The tournament is based on a knockout bounty variant of poker tournament where players are given a sum of the prize pool for knocking another of the hopefuls out of the tournament.

This is a great way for players to be able to get their buy in fee back even if they fail to reach the paid finishing positions.

The tournament features a $240 + $16 buy in fee which is broken down into $200 that is placed into the prize pool and $40 goes into the player bounty funds.  Once the $200 buy in’s have been accounted for, the prize pool is guaranteed to be a minimum of $350,000.

Knocking a player out of the tournament will see the full $40 being credited into your playing account instantly, making the funds available for use straight after you eliminate the player.

The site features a leader board for this tournament, showing players who have had the most success within the Brawl tournaments that have already been completed, such stats as the number of players that you have knocked out are placed into the public eye, helping to create a sense of fear within your opponents.

The tournament is seen as the warm up for the $750,000 Sunday guaranteed and Sunday Milligan tournaments that will be starting after this tournament starts, so you can literally warm up for the bigger fights while playing within this tournament.
